Restoration Hardware Showroom Visit: Buckhead, Atlanta

This past weekend I had the pleasure of visiting the Restoration Hardware Showroom in the heart of Atlanta.

For any designer, showrooms are like being a kid in a candy store and RH is no exception.

In fact, I would dare say that Restoration Hardware in Buckhead is the showroom of all showrooms.

From the dazzling chandeliers to the endless options of custom upholstery and drapery, RH does not disappoint.

There are six magical floors including a top level dedicated to outdoor furnishings.

An Elevated Experience:

From the moment you pull into the Restoration Hardware parking lot you feel like royalty. You are greeted by a complimentary valet driver who hands you a slip and handles parking on your behalf.

You walk in to a round entrance table filled with a variety of catalogs featuring Restoration Hardware’s latest in home furnishings, kids décor, and outdoor living.

As you walk from room to room there is no denying the incredible amount of lighting on display. From oversized chandeliers to picture lights, the lighting in this showroom is breathtaking.

I could have written this blog solely on the amazing lighting featured in Restoration Hardware’s showroom.

Every room is carefully designed and staged in a way rarely seen in a retail showroom. Each space felt as though I could be someone’s home…minus the price tags of course.

Most of the furniture is white or natural tones as you have the ability to custom make almost all of their upholstery.

Which takes us to the next two floors, where you will find conference desks filled with their friendly staff that are eager to help clients make their furniture their own.

You get the opportunity to see all of the various fabric and hardware options available… and there are plenty!

The fourth floor was filled with contemporary stylish pieces.

The fifth floor was completely geared towards to nurseries, kids rooms, and teen hang out spaces. While they held true to the neutral aesthetic here, the fifth floor was by far the most colorful.

The kids floor was filled with magical lighting, sophisticated bunk beds (who knew there was such a thing), and rooms that take you back to grade school.

The sixth and final floor was focused on outdoor living. As you walk up the stairs the room is pouring out natural lighting and stunning outdoor furniture options.

Don’t worry, you don’t have to hike up six set of stairs to enjoy the outdoor living, first off there is an elevator.

In addition to elevators, Restoration Hardware makes sure to feature balconies on the first three floors that are fully outfitted with outdoor upholstered pieces.

If that isn’t enough while I waited for the valet to bring car there are about 10 vignettes that display their various outdoor collections.

There is so much more I could say about Restoration Hardware’s showroom but words can’t do it justice.

If you’re in the Atlanta area, I highly encourage you to make time for a visit.

Trust me, you will not disappointed.

By the way, the gentleman at the front desk let me know that this showroom only features 15% of their offerings. Yes, you read that correctly FIFTEEN PERCENT!

I went ahead and took the liberty of including their website so that you can enjoy all that Restoration Hardware has to offer.
